It isn't even spring yet!

I have been told that the flowers I have been seeing are just the odd ones... when spring and summer actually get here, then I will really see some flowers!

Here is another attempt at an 'art' type picture or two

One of the local watch-dogs

There are always pieces of the past one can discover on Tinian

This is one of the largest 'standing gardens' on Tinian

Across the street a choir is singing...

And a little girl watches and listens...

with the other guests

The Tinian ferry heads to Saipan to pick up more visitors. Things have been a little slow lately on the island. Some of that is due to the airlines cutting back on the flights coming to Saipan. Tinian is also not able to receive direct flights to the island--they all come to Saipan first, and then come by small plane or by ferry to Tinian.

You can park here when you come!

Another new home being built within the village

The work on the amphitheater continues, although it is almost done!

They have almost finished digging the big hole behind the amphitheater. They assure me it is a catch-basin for water run-off. But it seems a little big for that. Perhaps they are really building an Olympic size swimming pool, or something.

Just another hidden building from ages past
